Meal Prep: Spicy Chicken Stir Fry

Meal Prep So you may have noticed that Fitter Britter has been MIA the past couple weeks. I totaled my car in the snow so I have been dealing with getting all that straightened out and getting a new vehicle. However, during this time, I have been trying to get down this meal prep thing. This week I only did one meal for the week. I’m seriously debating trying out intermittent fasting but until then I needed lunch for the week. This recipe turned out so well I decided to share it on the blog. Spicy Chicken Stir fry Ingredients:

Amino Acids For Post Workout Recovery

POST workout soreness After my first round of Rocket Boys Training Circuit I was extremely sore. I had not seriously worked out in quite some time. All of my muscles were screaming. On morning 2 after I had to roll out of bed I was so sore. I remember being at work struggling as my leg muscles were too sore to function. First Post of 2018! All About Plyo-boxes!

Welcome 2018! I just want to start this post off by saying that I hope everyone had a great holiday and New Years, I sure did. Getting to spend lots of time with my two favorite little humans, my niece and nephew was my favorite! Christmas was great and I  realized just how supportive my family is of my new healthy lifestyle! They let us pick our starting stations so naturally I saved the easiest for last. Or so I thought. Wrong. I have seen many videos of my best friend killing it with the battle ropes. She is about half my size, so I just knew I could

Jingle Bell Trot 5k

A Few Weeks Ago A few weeks ago I really started committing mentally to this Fitter lifestyle, so naturally I started social media stalking the local crossfit gym. There aren’t that many options in my area, so I wanted to get a feel for how they operate. I immediately felt a small sort of kinship with this gym because they were organizing and sponsoring their first 5k for charity: they’re doing something new, I’m doing something new… They called it the Jingle Bell Trot and were collecting toys for kids for the holidays. Heck yeah! Registration was capped at 100 entries, so this
